At Cold Dew, autumn deepens; in the morning, chrysanthemums bloom. Wild geese fly southward; dew turns to frost on plants and trees. Heaven and earth are filled with a scene of restrained chill. At this time, the summer heat has now receded, and coolness sharpens into coldness. It is the key period for the body's yang energy to draw inward and nourish the five organs.

寒露惊秋晚,朝看菊渐黄。鸿雁列阵南归,草木凝露为霜。天地间一派清寒收敛的景象。此时,暑气尽消,凉意转为寒冽,正是人体阳气收敛,内养五脏的关键时期。

Chang-style Boxing emphasizes "returning central qi to the origin". It fuses external physical movements with the inner flow of breath. In the chilly air, each posture is gentle, steady, and calm.

苌家拳,讲究“中气归元”,将外在的形体动作与内在的呼吸相融合,在微冷空气中,一招一式,舒缓沉稳。

This is a dialogue between Kung Fu and the seasons. Hands rise among falling leaves, and qi is nourished through the rhythm of breath. It stretches the muscles to resist the cold, and moistens the lungs to alleviate autumn dryness.
