Zhengzhou-based tea beverage giant, Mixue, recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), marking a significant stride in the brand's international expansion. The agreement outlines Mixue's commitment to increasing its imports of Brazilian agricultural products, including green coffee beans and processed fruits. ApexBrasil, in turn, will provide support to facilitate Mixue's establishment and retail expansion within the Brazilian market. This partnership not only strengthens Sino-Brazilian economic ties but also highlights the global ambitions of Zhengzhou-based enterprises.
近日,蜜雪集团与巴西出口投资促进局签署《谅解备忘录》,标志着这家来自郑州的茶饮品牌在国际化征程中又迈出关键一步。根据备忘录内容,蜜雪冰城计划在其供应链中进一步扩大巴西农产品的进口份额,包括咖啡生豆、水果制品等巴西优势农产品。巴西出口投资促进局将为蜜雪冰城在巴西的业务主体和零售市场拓展提供必要协助。这一合作不仅深化了中巴经贸纽带,更让郑州企业的全球化布局再添浓墨重彩的一笔。
According to a company representative, Mixue plans to invest a minimum of 4 billion yuan (approximately USD 555 million) in procuring Brazilian agricultural products over the next 3-5 years. This investment is projected to create 25,000 jobs. From importing coffee beans to establishing a local supply chain, Mixue is building a complete, localized production and sales cycle in Brazil. The brand plans to open its first Brazilian store this year, followed by the construction of a supply chain factory, achieving full localization from raw material sourcing to product manufacturing. This model not only reduces the cost of international operations but also allows Brazilian consumers to enjoy freshly made beverages from the East more quickly.
