On December 6^th, the 2023 World 5G Convention with the theme of "5G+ By All, For All" kicked off in Zhengzhou. Held in central China for the first time, the Convention gathered guests from all over the world, including scientists, entrepreneurs, and heads of international organizations working in the field of 5G, so they could discuss plans and cooperation on future development.

12月6日，以“5G变革共绘未来”为主题的2023世界5G大会在郑州拉开帷幕。这是该项国际性盛会首次在中部地区举办，来自全球5G领域的科学家、企业家、国际组织负责人等齐聚一堂，共商发展大计、共谋合作未来。

An international event on global 5G, the World 5G Convention was first held in 2019, serving as an international platform for global 5G cooperation. This year marks the fifth year of commercial 5G use. China has built the largest 5G network in the world and is moving toward a critical period of new technological innovation and large-scale 5G applications.

作为全球5G领域国际性盛会，世界5G大会自2019年以来已成功举办5届，打造了促进全球5G合作的“5G风向标”平台。今年是5G商用的第五个年头，我国已经建成全球规模最大、技术领先的5G网络，迎来了5G规模化应用发展关键期和新一轮技术创新期。

Henan, a large province in central China, has in recent years been putting great effort towards digital transformation. It has kept improving 5G-oriented network infrastructure and advancing R&D capability in technology, resulting in a booming digital industry and a 5G application scale ranked first in China.

作为中部大省的河南，近年来大力实施数字化转型战略，以5G为核心的网络基础设施不断完善，技术研发能力显著加强，数字产业蓬勃发展，应用规模居全国第一方阵。

Lasting for 3 days, the Convention consisted of a main forum, 12 sub-forums, exhibitions, and a 5G Integrated Application Competition. It is striving to become an international platform for cooperation and exchange between countries, regions, disciplines, and cultures, providing online and offline services.

本次盛会为期3天，采用“论坛+展会+大赛+同期活动”的办会形式，设置了主论坛和12个分论坛、展示展览、5G融合应用揭榜赛等形式多样的活动，着力搭建跨国界、跨地域、跨学科、跨文化、线上线下融合的国际合作交流平台。

At the 5G-A Security Forum, opinions were shared by scientific elites, experts, industry leaders and leading entrepreneurs on how to promote the integrated development of network security education, technology, and industry. They discussed how to build a controllable, visible, and credible 5G industry application security system to ensure the security of vertical industries. They also talked about 5G security in terms of international research, standardization, potential key technologies, and industrial applications.

在“5G-A安全论坛”上，科研精英、专家智囊、行业领袖、领军企业家等为推动网络安全教育、技术、产业融合发展，构建可控、可视、可信的5G行业应用安全体系，使垂直行业的安全充分受益，围绕5G安全的国际研究进展、标准化、潜在关键技术、产业应用等主题进行研讨。
